Welcome to the website of the City of Wakefield Swimming Club. We are a competitive swimming club of around 100 members based in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire, training in pools in Normanton, Castleford, Featherstone, Pontefract and at Thornes Park in Wakefield.

Our swimmers are mainly in the 9-18 age range with a few older swimmers, and they take part in local, county, regional and national competitions at all levels. We also run teams in two leagues - the Pocklington Times league and the Barnsley Minors League. We are now ASA swim 21 accredited (click here for more detail about swim 21) to Skill Development level.

This website is in two parts. There is the main public area which is visible to any visitor and which contains general information about the club, including information on the training squads and on how to join the club or find out more about us.

There is also a members area which contains a lot of information relating to the running of the club, including a very detailed results and personal bests database and information on entries for forthcoming competitions. The members area is password protected - existing members requiring access should follow the Contact Us link to request their password.
