Directions from M62 : Leave the M62 at Junction 31. From the roundabout follow the signs for Normanton Town Centre (NOT the main A655 road for Wakefield). After approx 1 mile you will come to a traffic light junction next to the Black Swan pub, continue straight ahead at these traffic lights. After another 1/2 mile you will come to a second traffic light junction, turn right at this junction onto Wakefield Road heading towards the Town Centre. The pool is the building on the right after approx 50m.

Directions from Wakefield : Leave the City Centre on the A638 towards Doncaster - continue out of the City passing Rugby League ground and passing under a large railway bridge. Shortly after this bridge turn left at a set of major traffic lights, onto the A655 signposted Normanton. Follow this road for xxx miles to a roundabout where you should turn left, following the signs for 'Town Centre' rather than the main A655. Turn immediately right at the next roundabout and follow this road into Normanton. At the first set of traffic lights, fork left (signposted Altofts) and the pool is 50m along on the right hand side.

This new facility can be seen from the Marsh Way dual carriageway but is accessed from Sun Lane. The pool is best accessed from the roundabout at the lower end of Marsh Way. Traffic entering from the South and West should take the first exit from the roundabout towards the City Centre, but keep right at the first set of traffic lights to continue straight ahead. Then at the next set of traffic lights, turn right (you are not allowed to go straight forward). You will see Sun Lane Leisure shortly on your right. if approaching from the South or East, follow the signs towards Barnsley A61 which will either bring you down Marsh Way to the same roundabout, or Peterson Road if taking a short cut from the A642. At the roundabout take the exit towards the city centre (by Wilkinsons) and follow the instructions as above.
